Traveled from California to Japan underwater. And not so amazing, but the experience is a treasure: taking groups of local students to Plymouth's Sister City in Japan. It's pretty awesome when what was first perceived as a "once in a lifetime" has influenced the direction of studies and careers, especially for those whose horizons were once bounded by the town line. The effect on the participants is what is amazing to me.
