please be patient as i HATE the new CS layout, I've no idea where all my info and description are hidden 🌍 ABOUT ME Since 2014 I’ve been on the move: living, working, saving, and then disappearing for months to explore the world. I’ve worked as a chef in Australia and New Zealand, spent two years in Athens doing customer care for Apple, then lived in Ireland for 5 years, working and embracing the green island life. After all that, I finally decided to come back to my roots — to my quiet little hill town in the Italian countryside — and start a new chapter. People say I’m: Funny, sarcastic (in a good way) Super curious and talkative Clean, respectful, and easygoing When I travel, I follow the energy of people and places – I don’t need a plan, just good vibes. 🟢 Vegetarian (no meat or fish, but I eat eggs/dairy) 🚭 I don't smoke ☕ Not a coffee drinker – yes, I might be the first Italian vegetarian non-smoker who doesn’t drink coffee or care about football or fashion 😅 🧘 PHILOSOPHY Work – Save – Travel – Repeat “Less is more.” “People don't take trips… trips take people.” – John Steinbeck “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” – Marcel Proust “I read; I travel; I become.” – Derek Walcott True story: “Denny, how can you work 7 months and travel 3?” Me: “How can you work 11 months and travel only 3 weeks?” ✨ WHY I TRAVEL I travel because I’m deeply curious about people – how they live, what they value, how they spend this short, beautiful time on Earth. Each trip reminds me how lucky I am and helps me grow in humility. I believe in coming home with peace in your heart, memories in your mind, and stories worth sharing.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
🌍 WHY I’M ON COUCHSURFING I feel a constant need to be in motion — not just traveling, but experiencing. For me, Couchsurfing is the best way to connect deeply with people and places. I’m not chasing monuments or Instagram spots. I travel to live through different realities, understand the good and the bad of each place, and form my own perspective. I love meeting curious minds, having real conversations, asking tons of questions, and challenging my worldview. Every interaction helps me open my mind a little more. That’s why I’m here — to share, learn, and grow through people.

Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
Honestly... the list is long (and getting longer). Here are just a few: Got attacked by a kangaroo in Jervis Bay, Australia 🦘 (yes, really) Almost ended up with a Mike Tyson face tattoo after a wild night in Bangkok 🥴 Couchsurfed with a crazy Vietnamese family who made me question everything I thought I knew about “normal” Spent 3 months in a Hare Krishna community in Australia – barefoot, meditating, and eating endless rice Once asked for a kebab with “penis” instead of chicken in Spain (damn you, Spanish pronunciation: pollo vs. polla 🌯🙈) Hiked Mt. Teide (3,700m) in the Canary Islands wearing just a swimsuit and a t-shirt in the morning — beach sunset the same day! 🏖️❄️ Got completely lost in Bangkok with some hostelmates and woke up in a tattoo studio with a stencil of Tyson's tribal tattoo on my face... that part? Not funny at all. Climbed Adam’s Peak in Sri Lanka – 5,200 steps straight up in the middle of the night just to catch sunrise at the top 🌄 ...and there’s more. Always more.

i📚 TEACH, LEARN, SHARE I truly believe that everyone has something to teach — a story, a skill, a perspective — and that every encounter can enrich your soul, even in unexpected ways. I’m always curious and open: 🧠 Ready to learn whatever you feel like sharing 💬 Happy to teach anything I know, from practical tips to travel stories to vegetarian cooking 🤝 Love exchanging ideas, even (especially) when we disagree — that’s where growth happens! 🪣 BUCKET LIST Some of these dreams have already come true… others are still waiting: ✅ Travel across India & Sri Lanka ✅ Participate in an Indian wedding ✅ Celebrate Holi Festival in India ✅ Volunteer while traveling (and at home!) ❌ Travel through South America ✅ Do not lose weight while traveling as a vegetarian (India helped!) ⏳ Complete a Vipassana meditation course ✅ Couchsurf with the wildest, kindest, and weirdest people ever ✅ Hike mountains unprepared in swimwear, then hit the beach ✅ Get (almost) a Tyson's face tattoo in a thailand after a drink night ✅ Live in a Hare Krishna community ❌ Still need to find a kangaroo that actually likes me after be attacked from a mama kangaroo

Meus Interesses
🎯 INTERESTS Whatever makes me laugh — I’m in. Yoga for balance, music to set the mood, and rugby… well, for passion (did I say rugby? Let me say it again: rugby 🏉). I’m into films, sports, beer, good conversations, and the thrill of traveling and meeting new people. I love exploring new cultures, trying local cuisines, and learning how people live around the world — even if it’s wildly different from me. Especially if it is. Also: Friends, good food & wine, long chats, art, cinema, reading, photography, and anything that reminds me how big and beautiful this world is. 🛠️ Current goal: I’m dreaming of building out a van and turning it into a simple, liveable home for a long road trip adventure through Europe — just like I did back in Australia and New Zealand. Same soul, new roads.
