I turned to solo backpacking early in life not just to move across places but to connect with new people, gather lessons, understand acceptance and acknowledgment, and in the process discover who I am beneath the grind. From the rugged trails of the Sahyadri ranges in the Western Ghats to the fading calm of secluded coastal sunsets; from offbeat muddy paths to the pulse of busy streets; from different states and cities to diverse languages, cultures, and cuisines, each moment unfolding in its own flow, each leaving behind something that quietly stays. I am constantly drawn to understanding how things come together, why they exist, and what they truly mean beneath the surface. Science gives clarity, history carries depth, geography widens my perspective, and spirituality completes what logic alone cannot explain. In the midst of it all, books become a pause, a quiet escape from social media overstimulation, a space for a true digital detox. This path I walk does not always promise clarity, yet it gives me meaning. It does not offer permanence, yet it leaves me fuller each time. I am not trying to arrive anywhere.
