Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of July 7th, 2021. "To travel is to take a journey into yourself." - Danny Kaye Just a fellow traveler and learner looking to make connections with people from around the world. I currently work as an English teacher in Kesennuma, Miyagi, Japan. Feel free to message me if you're ever in the area. I can host people, but due to the natural disaster in 2011, my area isn't super accessible anymore. My area is accessible by bus from Sendai City or a train from Ichinoseki. I've lived in the Middle East for a few years since my father, a college professor, took sabbaticals there. I've sort of been moving from place to place the majority of my life but I've resided in a small suburban city in California for about 10 years, I've been living in Japan for two years now (as of July 2021). I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with Couchsurfing so far and I'm grateful to everyone who has shown me around and those who have hosted me.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing, in my short experience with it, has been a great way to meet locals and fellow travelers, i'd like to say I've made lifelong friends out of the people that I've met. That's the primary reason for Couchsurfing for me, traveling alone is fun but if it's done in a hotel it can get boring for me, I'd rather meet some people and see sights together or just have a discussion.
Música, Filmes e Livros
I love music from all genres (yes--even country music), but I mainly enjoy alternative rock and EDM. Favorite band is Linkin Park. Horror, mystery, and crime novels are my favorites. Marvel, comedy, CW shows are what I watch.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
I suppose venturing out into the vast world a couple months after i turned 18 to do my first solo-travel.
Ensinar, Aprender, Compartilhar
I love learning new languages. Though I don't have the best opportunities to practice them. I've lived in Japan for 2 years now and can speak conversationally! Love to cook, always willing to show you some recipes/new foods!

Meus Interesses
Sightseeing, biking, cuisine, travelling, nature, hiking, and meeting new people. Discussing contemporary issues or anything really. Taking pictures of nature is probably another one of my passions. The Arashiyama river is one of my favorite places in Japan.
