Sadly I am a broke student and this is an affordable way to travel. I also love the social experience of travelling and meeting new people. Couchsurfing allows you to meet people living in the place you're travelling in and really soak up the culture, which is an invaluable experience!

I was successfully born and made it this far, which is pretty great I think. I love to travel and I've travelled a lot of Europe with my brother who's 23. When I was 18 I volunteered in Thailand, building an orphanage, working with elephants and cleaning beaches, I also travelled in Canada and worked in a hostel in Quebec, where I learnt French. Now I live in Groningen where I study European Languages and Cultures. I'm a vegan and I helped start a student association in Groningen to help the community grow and to educate people about nutrition... I don't know if these are amazing to you but that's some cool stuff I could think of. I also cycled from Toronto to Montréal once.
