If you stay at my place, know that you will not only be meeting myself and my roomates, but many other friends who come over weekly to do stuff like cook together, play tabletop games together, and drink tea together. If you are an extrovert you are welcome to join in on the little meetups that happen at my place. Though my apartment is small, I like to consider it a hub for people to come together, so there is plenty of entertainment, a comfy couch, good teas and room for conversing. Also: I really want to learn Japanese. If you know any Japanese please help me.

I can tell you a lot about Canada! I teach english and I want to be a french teacher in Vancouver so I can definitely share my languages; I'm also half-polish and even though I don't speak fluently I can share this culture with you as well. I can teach you some new board games (ask and I'll bring some with me). It would be cool to have a drawing partner, and I would love to learn some new recipes or cook together.
