I would like someone who I can speak and practice my French with, even though I can be a bit shy about French these days. I can teach you how to make tasty vegetarian food, but also maybe you can teach me how to make things I can't make too well, like cakes and sweet things. I can cut your hair for free! and then maybe you can cut mine, because i find it very frustrating that I don't have eyes in the back of my head sometimes. you could teach me how to knit better, or I could teach you how to make a monkey or a penguin out of socks :) I'll stop now, but the teachin', learnin', sharin' milarkey could go on forever I'm sure. oo, also - are you any good at fixing holes in the floor?

human beans, actual beans, other people's thoughts about things, old books, bric-a-brac, things that people do for free, gender! growing vegetables/ makin' compost, trying to learn other languages, dabbling in philosophy and history - even though it is often dubious. trying to be active in politics, even though that is rather dubious too - but i like to plot those small subversive acts of rebellion - actualising them is another kettle of fish.
