I’m Harjeevan — a 28-year-old turbaned software engineer and solo traveler from India 🇮🇳. I’ve explored most of India’s tourist and offbeat destinations and have for few years been diving into international travel. I enjoy connecting with locals, sharing stories over tea, and soaking in cultures beyond guidebooks. Professionally, I work in a US based tech giant in India and as an entrepreneur am currently building an app focused on helping small and medium businesses grow customer loyalty through rewards — something I’m really passionate about. Beyond code, I’m all about real-world experiences — whether it’s a street food walk, a spontaneous road trip, or a deep conversation with a stranger who becomes a friend.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
To explore places through the lens of locals. I believe the real soul of a place lies in its people, homes, and conversations — not just landmarks. Couchsurfing is the kind of travel I deeply value. Also, as an introvert, this is my way of stepping out of my comfort zone — to connect, share, and grow through meaningful moments with strangers who often become friends.
Música, Filmes e Livros
Music: Hip hop, desi hip hop, Eminem, Sidhu Moosewala, Karan Aujla, old Hindi hits. Movies: Love Punjabi films, sci-fi, romcoms, documentaries, and global cinema. Books: Mostly nonfiction on mindset, psychology, and personal growth. (Atomic Habits, Power of Subconscious mind, psychology of money, fast and slow thinking etc.) And some fiction like including The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari (it inspired me to travel solo, slow and like a local🧳).
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
I’ve done a variety of adventure and water sports including: Scuba diving, parasailing, snowboarding, snorkeling, paragliding, and more — every new experience adds a layer to who I am.
