I can be very independent but have found that life is better when it's shared with others. Travelling alone can be a great adventure but being able to meet people along the way and share stories and advice is one of the many reasons why I Couchsurf. On top of that, when I travel I want to immerse myself into the culture and feel like I'm a part of it, even if for a night. I enjoy being able to stay in peoples homes and being able to do things together.

I love jamming out to tunes wherever I am- so anything I can sing my heart out to, I will love (karaoke anyone?) I love documentaries and independent films. Also the occasional rom-com as a guilty pleasure... I enjoy reading stories about people's lives and books that talk about history.
