I'm a graphic designer and literature student, currently working on my thesis about digitalisation of poetry. I am interested in culture and love traveling to new places. Recently returned to Finland from a year in New York, trying to get back into the Helsinki pace.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
I've found Couchsurfing to be a very nice way of traveling, but also re-experiencing your own city. And of course meeting amazing people!
Música, Filmes e Livros
Music: I try to constantly find new musical influences, but can also get stuck on one band or song for months at a time. I listen to all kinds of music, but have a soft spot for jazz, blues, dark carnevalesque and female singer-songwriters. I play several instruments myself but none of them actively. I used to play classical piano and flute, these days I'm mostly strumming my ukulele. Dream instruments to play are cello and accordion. TV: Black Mirror, Sherlock, Crazy Ex-girlfriend, Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Podcasts: Invisibilia, 2 Dope Queens, Switched on Pop, Welcome to Night Vale, Ted&Kaj, Anna Faris is Unqualified, Mortified, The Allusionist.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
Once I traveled to London for a Halloween party, and then stopped by Iceland for a music festival on my way home.
Ensinar, Aprender, Compartilhar
I am good with teaching languages, basics in piano playing or explaining music theory and color theory! Also I have a few vegetarian and raw food recipes up my sleeve.
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
I am pretty good at rants about feminism, digitalization of literature, or why Comic Sans actually isn't actually such a terrible font.
Meus Interesses
I'm interested in all kinds of culture–music, literature, design, art, theatre and architecture. I spend a lot of my time experiencing different kinds of cultural events, wether it's obscure showcase festivals, gallery openings or immersive theatre. I once planned a whole European trip around going to the Netherlands to see the Van Gogh painting Cafe Terrace at Night. Totally worth it.
