I'm from North Carolina, and people tell me they can tell. I've been living the past 2 years of my life in rural towns in Ethiopia as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I've been teaching English, Computer Literacy, and some chorus clubs here and there all to my students' amazement. I'm not afraid to introduce myself, nor am I afraid to express my opinion. I love discussion but overall, I just want to see people happy. Making people smile makes me feel great. I used to classify myself as geeky, but since completing my Peace Corps service Ive learned Im much more than that. I love alternative sports, hiking, and generally socializing over a fire and/or beer. I love teaching/assisting/volunteering/helping. It's in my blood. Don't be afraid to ask me for anything. Southern hospitality is just the tip of the iceberg for me. I love music, film, animation, and the arts in general. I also love shooting film. My mother's a dietician, my father's a chef and restaurant owner, my grandfather's a farmer, and my grandmother has written cookbooks. I love food just as much as them. Let's talk "texture" and "acid".

Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
I guess staying in two rural towns in Ethiopia for my Peace Corps service. I'm quite proud of it, and through my service I've learned so much about what makes us all truly human beings. Rock climbed to an ancient church in Ethiopia with no rope or safety equipment...barefoot.
Ensinar, Aprender, Compartilhar
Im an English teacher, so I know how to talk slowly and clearly quite well.
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
Stories of teaching crazy cool kids in Ethiopia. Geography and History! Discussions about politics...if desired. My love of cooking and how food brings us all together! Film knowledge. Old music (50s-90s) Let's talk about the Bee Gees or Tears for Fears.
