Hello! My name is Jade and I am from Anchorage Alaska. I am a bit new to this whole traveling thing! I was raised by two homebodies and am just recently leaving the continent for the first time! I am so excited to be traveling to Europe. I am an art student here in Alaska and looking forward to seeing all the masterpieces Europe has to offer. I have been studying art at the University for 3 years now and mostly paint watercolor and make ceramics. It is my dream one day to own my own gallery and workspace that brings the community together with art. I also want to bring art education to the young children of low income schools. I believe children are our future and want to empower young people to find avenues to self express. On top of being a student I am also an avid fan of baking. Before going to school I worked in an upscale bakery for two years and learned to bake and decorate wedding cakes. I love making treats and inventing my own flavor combinations. I feel very creative with food just as I do with paint. My favorite part of making food is sharing it. I love brightening someone's day with just a small treat. I find myself at home near the sea, I like collecting barnacles and crab shells. I also like playing on the beach. In Alaska our beaches are very cold but we still go swimming in the ocean. It is better than coffee!
