From Sydney / Living in London / travelling Europe when I can. As a kid I was nicknamed 'Geronimo Jen' because I was always throwing myself into something new. Now I'm a little older and wiser (um, not much taller), but still love meeting new people, discovering new places and learning new things. I hope I don't ever outgrow a curiosity + a sense of wonder for the world. I'm a friendly, open and adventurous person - as at home in a rowdy pub as I am exploring the outdoors on my own. I gravitate to all things creative and love stumbling upon quirky gems, great cafes, bookstores, beautiful views, old libraries, new music or small galleries when I travel. Through travel I hope to channel my inner Ferris Bueller: 'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.' ^I also wouldn't mind rocking out during a float parade, but baby steps

It seems a more honest way of travelling. What better way to discover a corner of the world than by meeting the people who actually live there?
Música, Filmes e Livros
Music: always. I'm a sucker for indie rock (Sufjan Stevens/Arcade Fire/Bon Iver/Vampire Weekend/Phoenix/The Nationals), and anything with a rootsy/blues/folk vibe (Leonard Cohen /Bob Dylan/Andrew Bird/Courtney Barnett) but I dig a lot of classic and new rock too (Beatles/Jimmy Hendrix/The Strokes/Muse), softronica (Sigur Rós) and have a soft spot for jazz. Movies: currently binging on 80s and 90s flicks. So cheesy. So good. Books: Everything is Illuminated / High fidelity / In Cold Blood / Tracks /The Handmaid's Tale / A Monster Calls / Tomorrow When The War Began / Maus I and Maus II / YOU / Burial Rites / A Little Life / The Book Thief

I dabble in a number of instruments and songwriting but would love to learn the harmonica.
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
My dazzling personality. Just kidding. A genuine curiosity for their life, a meal or a drink, music/film/movie banter, music jams, a vast vocab of horrendous Aussie slang, and (if you're lucky) a packet of TimTams. Mostly I just love hearing where people have been and where they're going.
