Hey :) I'm Jess, live in London where I am currently studying an MA part-time in Migration & Diaspora Studies, whilst working with those who have experienced homelessness, refugees and asylum seekers. I've lived in Rotterdam, Reykjavik and Greece, and love travelling of course! My favourite way to travel is very slowly - not to rush but to get stuck in places.. meet locals, experience music and art from other cultures, having the chance to learn, laugh, talk, and share experiences with people from all walks of life.. whether its about politics, aliens, food, literature, music, whatever! Cold beer and conversation is the best combination.

People! For me it is really the people that make a place special... I remember places by conversations. I love to make friends along the way as I travel, laugh, share experiences, food or a drink together
Música, Filmes e Livros
Neo Soul, Reggae/dub - a heavy bassline on a decent sound system, Hip hop, Jazz, Soul... currently listening to Kendrick Lamar's new album on repeat I love to read, especially historical fiction and poetry... currently reading 'Travelling While Black' by Nanjala Nyabola My favourite director is Yorgos Lanthimos.. so any of his wonderfully bizarre creations, also anything from Wes Anderson, David Lynch, and Space Odyssey and Interstellar on a big screen!

Iceland's landscape and nature... whilst living there I went on a 4 day hike through the Highlands and the scenery was just astounding
