I love to explore a city through the eyes of its population and quickly become of them. The feeling of shutting an actual door in the morning and heading out feels way more special than hanging up a "please clean the room" sign on a hotel room door handle! And most importantly I expect to end up drinking a cold brew with all of your friends while trying to reshape the world - isn't that what vacations are for? (also I haven't used couchsurfing a lot but feel free to look at my Airbnb profile - I've got a lot of reviews on there)

I listen to pretty much everything (how original) but if I had to choose I'd go with blues over anything else. I'm not a big movie guy but pretty any Kubrick's film will get my attention. And one of my favorite book has got to be "The Kindness of Strangers: Penniless across America" by Mike McIntyre - if you haven't read it drop everything and go read it!
