Hello, I´m Katha, right now finishing my master in Sociology at the University in Gent, Belgium. From mid march I´m going to travel Columbia together with my boyfriend. Therefore we are searching for nice couches and beds to rest and nice people to meet on our way! In the last years, during university, I was living with the best flatmates/friends I could ever find. That's one reason, I'd really enjoy finding another "second family" abroad :) I'm into participating in small grassroot social movements - if this is an adequate way of framing this kind of political participation - concerning "right to the city" and sociocultur. For me it's important to create rooms where people are brought to come together, can help each other and network. Together with some friends, I started a little collective years ago, by which we were (and are) organizing several events (parties/urban games/outdoor movie nights and even trying to get a steady space), where we are trying to create such free, more or less anticapitalist rooms for people! With this collective, we also took part at several small music festivals, where we build and managed an own floor with bars, music ... together with other beautiful people! Besides fighting racism and other kind of discrimination because of far-fetched categories is important for me. :)
