Por que estou no Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am so grateful to all of the hosts that hosted my friend and me on our two week trip around Alaska. I can only hope that someday I will be as great of a host as you all were - thank you!!! With that being said, I cannot wait to move into my new apartment and start hosting Couchsurfers!!! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing made my two week trip to Alaska. Without the generosity of the Couchsurfers I had the opportunity to stay with in Alaska, it wouldn't have been the most epic vacation I've ever taken! They literally made our trip AMAZING! I am so thankful for Couchsurfing!!! I can't wait to host surfers (and continue traveling myself). It is truly an awesome thing to see places from a true locals perspective. Couchsurfing has restored my faith in humanity! To know there are people out there who share their lives with strangers is a beautiful thing.

Road tripped to and from Los Angeles, California from Buffalo, New York. Spent a year living in Los Angeles serving with an AmeriCorps program called City Year. Worked in an under resourced middle school in South Los Angeles, amazing. Stood on the Great Wall of China. Had an amazing two week adventure exploring Alaska with my childhood best friend - Juneau, Anchorage, Seward, Homer, Denali National Park, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, back to Anchorage - all thanks to Couchsurfing! Spent 4-weeks in Ecuador with the Ecuador Professional Preparation Program (EPPP). Volunteered in a school, took Spanish lessons in the evenings, traveled on the weekends.

I love to quilt and would love to teach someone else how to quilt someday. I am passionate about education and hope to share my views with others. I am an avid reader and look forward to sharing and hearing various book recommendations. I'm a life long learner and find other people and their stories fascinating.
O Que Posso Oferecer aos Hosts
I would consider myself a responsible and reliable person. I am eager to help with whatever needs to be done and I always maintain a clean living space. While I'm always up for an adventure, I tend to follow any set rules.
