Born in Lyon and I really found myself home in this city once I live in Croix-Rousse, this historic area that holds the revolutionary heritage of the Canuts. Spent my early twenties restless travelling, stopped in some countries (Belgium, Egypt) for personal or academic reasons. Every country I visited was special, but my experience in Egypt 8 years ago was like no other. 4 years ago, to face nostalgia, I started practicing Egyptian dance and I now play oud, an arabic instrument. I am now in my early thirties and happily 30-yo. During the covid shutdown and period, I discovered micro-adventures in nature : hiking and trekking around and I experienced more freedom in this kind of trips. I started bikepacking in France and then in Europe (Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Germany). Resourceful, Curiosity, Kindness are 3 words that picture my personality well. Im a "bon vivant" and I'll quote Charles Baudelaire to explain what does this word mean to me "'Il faut être toujours ivre. Tout est là: c’est l’unique question. Pour ne pas sentir l’horrible fardeau du Temps qui brise vos épaules et vous penche vers la terre, il faut vous enivrer sans trêve.Mais de quoi? De vin, de poésie, ou de vertu, à votre guise. Mais enivrez-vous." I first registered in couchsurfing in my mid-twenties and I never really used it. Staying in hostels or hanging out in cafés or bars was enough to meet people. These days, I found more difficult to connect with people in these places and I really considered using couchsurfing to meet and connect with people.
