I've been a Couchsurfer since 2013, but since 2024 I have my own profile. (Until then I was travelling with my family. https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/markom_family) I live in Tulln, close to Vienna, with my family and I‘m part of their hosting activities. I love to do activities outdoors, such as hiking, playing motion games or identifying plants. I also do enjoy reading - far more than watching movies. I've been playing recorder and flute for almost all my life, since 2021 I have also learned to play the piano.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
My first CouchSurfing experience was with an age of six years (2013) in Italy, and since then it was part of my life. As my family was not always able to travel, it was great for us to “let the world come to us”. Meeting new people, getting cultural experiences at home and practicing English skills were the main reasons for doing CouchSurfing. Also when traveling I believe it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about a country and culture by locals.
Música, Filmes e Livros
Books: Insu-Pu Alea Aquarius Anne of Green Gables Harry Potter Mrs. Honey The Wilderness of Girls Movies: Ronja, the Robber's daughter Marys little donkey (only at christmas-time) I love reading really much, especially reading good books again and again… Watching movies isn’t as much my thing, sometimes it’s relaxing but usually not more often than once or twice a month.

I love to do handycraft and can teach techniques such as binding books. Furthermore, I have some knowledge in outdoor activities and woodcraft, for example making fire (without matches), building constructions and identifying wild plants. I also know a bit of Austrian Sign Language which I can teach. However, I do not know enough in any of these topics, so I would enjoy it very much to learn more about handycraft, outdoor skills or Sign Language.
