Hi there, My name is Mélissa, and I'm looking for a place to stay in Puerto Rico from January to April. Ideally Santruce, San Juan. I would like to share daily life with people from the comunity. I started traveling for longer periods of time during the winter since the pandemic began. Over the past four years, I've lived in Mexico for 3 to 6 months each year (Mazunte and Bacalar). I've made friendships, got to learn and teach from many people and shared hobbies with people from all over the world! This year, I want to orientate my travel towards a yoga teacher training which I want to attend. The progrem is at Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico. The format perfectly fits my lifestyle, as the training occurs over 6-8 weekends, meaning that I can work during the week. I work remotely during the week and have been a freelance/digital nomad for the past two years. I studied actuarial science and typically work 30-40 hours a week, which I thoroughly enjoy. I need an internet connection and ideally a small desk :) But I can also step out in cafés or find a coworking space :) A bit more about me: I am a very calm and kind woman in my early 30s. I usually go to bed early and wake up early as well. I lead a healthy lifestyle – I don't drink alcohol, I stay very active (yoga, gym, running, hikes, ....), and I'm constantly working on myself and I also like helping others to grow. I'm happy to chat about light topics but also enjoy deeper conversations. I am fluent in French, English, and Spanish, I'm learning Portuguese, and I have a good understanding of Italian. I'm clean, and I can cook. I'm happy to help with household tasks or any other needs you may have. People say I have a positive and open energy. I love animals, nature, and books. While I don't own a TV, my two cats and my boyfriend provide great entertainment. However, I am currently traveling alone. Ideally, I would like to stay with a woman or tranquil roommates, a couple, a family or people from the LGBTQ+ community. I am only looking for friendly encounters!
