CURRENT MISSION To live and love and laugh alot ABOUT ME The friends who I have met abroad have noticed my easy going California vibes. It is very difficult to make me angry at you but please don't try. It may take a bit for me to open up but when I do, times be good. :) PHILOSOPHY I am a citizen of the world. The Earth is my country, and humanity is my nation. -Tawakkol Karman (2011 Nobel Peace Laureate)

Música, Filmes e Livros
Too many to list. Electronic music and classic rock. Neil Young is my hero. Also, I like to listen to cheezy Thai music. My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings, The Godfather, Star Wars, but I also enjoy classic movies from directors such as Hitchcock, Polanski, and Kubrick. I also enjoy stupid comedies like Anchorman and Pineapple Express. My favorite books are A Song of Ice and Fire, but again, there are too many to simply list here. I almost always have a book by my side. Right now I am reading "Sorrows of Empire," a nonfiction by Chalmers Johnson critiquing US foreign relations.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
1) Walking through S-21 Prison in Phnom Penh. Probably the most emotional I've ever been at a museum. Words can't describe what you experience walking through there. 2)Climbing to the top of Mt Whitney in California, the highest peak in the continental United States. The level of accomplishment felt is unreal as you stand at 14,600 ft (unfortunately, America schooling has not taught me what a meter is). 3) Seeing a poor Thai, Cambodian, or Laotian work 10+ hours a day for less than $15. It really makes you appreciate what you have just by being born where you were.
Meus Interesses
I enjoy learning about the past in order to learn about the future. Documentaries, museums, and non-fiction books are my cup of tea. I also enjoy learning about animals and the environment, and love the great outdoors. Although I am not very good, I like to strum around on my guitar on occasion.
