CURRENT MISSION To travel the world! I want to experience cultures and people from all corners. I'm just getting started, having only been to Asia and Europe, but it's exciting to have so many places to look forward to!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing
I'm mainly just attracted to the community. Why pay $30 for a hostel where you'll mostly meet drunk tourists when you could get to know an open minded, idealistic local instead? Couchsurfing just seems like a better way to make friends and experience the real side of the places I travel to.
Música, Filmes e Livros
FILMS Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, anything by Studio Ghibli, really. I really love American Beauty, and most of Christopher Nolan's films (like Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight)... I could go on, but you get the idea. I like movies. MUSIC I'm a big fan of Radiohead, but I like to listen to as many genres and artists as I can. Contemporary jazz, hip hop, reggae, punk rock, classic rock... there isn't really a genre that defines my musical interests. BOOKS Recent favourites include Cloudstreet by Tim Winton, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, The God of Small Things but Arundhati Roy, A Sense of Reality by Graham Greene and Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.
Uma Coisa Incrível Que Já Fiz
I've hiked the Annapurna circuit! It's one of the most famous treks in the world, and circles an entire mountain range in Central-Northern Nepal. The altitude maxes out at about 5400m, so it becomes quite difficult. The scenery is dynamic and striking, but the best thing about Annapurna was the cultural experience. Life is so different for the locals of Annapurna, and although much of that culture has been diluted with Western influence due to tourism, it's still a stark contrast to the kind of lives you see being lead at home. Another incredible part of Annapurna was the community of trekkers I came to be a part of, which, I imagine, has given me some lifelong friends.

I'd love the chance to learn some Spanish, if you happen to be a speaker. I can offer you practice in English, show you my favourite music, and share my travelling experiences with you!
Meus Interesses
Rock climbing is my favourite sport. I also love the physical, technical and mental challenge that it brings. And the best part about climbing is the community! It's supportive and full of open, enthusiastic people. It's easy to make friends with other climbers. If you're a chess player, we should have a game! Playing chess with a new person is a great way to get to know someone.
