CURRENT MISSION To find out more about couchsearching since new here and to have that experience soon ABOUT ME down to earth easy going and very friendly individual who likes to meet new people. I havent had the opportunity to travel much as bringing up my 3 kids was top priority and put food on the table, but now they are grown-up so hopefully I can do some travelling but would love to be able to do that with older mature travellers to have the company and make new friendships PHILOSOPHY Live my life to learn everyday and become a better person and to help others as I have been helped:)))

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I havent as of yet and just missed out on an experience in Amsterdam last year but look forward to my 1st experience.....anyone want to travel soon with COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I just joined recently and have not had the couchsurfing experience as of yet but after reading so many profiles how people love it and meet so many people I have to jump on the band wagon

One of the amazing and touching things I have seen was to pay my respects in Arnhem, The Netherlands at the cemetary where it was one of the worst battles of WW II I was so honored to be there this past sept 2013 and that day they were honoring dutch commandos. so memorable

I was very involved with my childrens sports but now they have left me empty nested I am beginning to explore volunteering with seniors group, making lunch at a drop in centre at local church, working with dementia patients and want to do more
