HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I joined Couchsurfing on a friend's recommendation. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE This is my first time being part of this community. Yet, the concept feels familiar to me; I have hosted numerous people even before officially joining Couchsurfing.

I have had many remarkable experiences throughout my life. One particularly profound experience was my time in Darfur. Working in an armed conflict area and assisting internally displaced persons to access basic needs was truly the most impactful experience I've ever had.

I completely agree that Couchsurfing is about more than just sleeping arrangements and partying. Beyond these aspects, it offers us ample opportunities to learn from and share our travel experiences and insights about the diverse communities we encounter.
