Hi dear all!

I' m an Erasmus-Student from Hungary, 21 years old, studying psychology. I' m searching a room for the summer semester or a Zwischenmiete, until i find something. I tried all the existing platforms, from wg-gesucht.de to immobilienscout24.de, but it s really difficult to get even an answer, especially when you' re not in Köln. I' m also registered at the Studentenwerk, but because of the long waiting lists i' m starting be worried a bit. So i decided to try my luck here: if you have a FREE PLACE or you know someone, who knows someone...., i would be very grateful for your help. Probably i' ll arrive to Köln after the 19th of March.

Some information about me: I consider myself a curious, open-minded and creative person, who likes to learn from other people. I'm always trying to step out of my comfort zone and experience as much as i can. I speak Hungarian, Romanian, German, Italian and can cook all the typical dishes of these countries :D

Also if somebody could host me for a couple of days, would be great. So if you could help me, just let me know!

Hi Andrea, I'm free for some days, my flat is in Wuppertal very close to the main station - if you have a ticket for the train this could be an option for you :)

Hi Alex! I don t know exactly when i m going to arrive to Cologne. I m still trying to find something through the Uni, cause those flats are usually cheaper. I will have the semester ticket from the 1st. of April. If i can t find a long-term accommodation i d be very grateful for a couch even for a few days. Thanks in advance! :)

maybe the university knows a idea. They have often free space , at the area called kwartier latäng , it is arround the university , . they take care of you . it is at Zülpicher strasse .. .. And than there is a nother one , at our " Arbeitsamt" cologne , the whole areas are empty . fitsr second and 3rd floor .. I have heard about it that it will be a nice house for living .. what do they say ? just let us know.. . we wish you all the best with the study. We had very often hosted people from hungary , it was very nice allways

Hallo Jochen, thanks for your advice! I ve already contacted the Studentenwerk, but they have long waiting lists and as i ve hear it s really difficult to get a place there. But i m still hoping they will help me at the end :)

Immo scout is a webseite for flats in Cologne. There is a flat for 1850 .- euro rental per month but it is 200 qm big .. so you are under 10 euro per sqm meter .. that is a bargain , cheap , and affordable.. as bigger a flat is as more cheaper .. nad as smaler a flat so mor high the price.. in Cologne it is easy 20, 25 or 30 euro per sqm.. so a smal appartement 4x4 meters like a party tent is easy 450.- euro .. so go get some people together and rent this for 1850.- it is cheap ..

Hi Andrea, My flat mate is on holidays till 09.04. If you like, you can have her flat till she's back to look for a flat of your own. We live in Bonn close to the central station and it's just a 20 minutes train ride to cologne. With the normal student ticket, the train is included. Do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi Thomas! Thank you very much for your offer :) I don t know exactly, when i m going to arrive to Köln, i guess at the end of March. The problem is that i will get my student card from the 1st. of April, so that s why the train would be an option for me, just after this date. If something changes i ll definitely contact you!

Hi Andrea, no problem. Do not hesitate to contact me. Btw. there are many students who live in Bonn and take the train to cologne every morning. Depending on where you live in cologne, you will have a longer way within cologne to the university which is in the south of cologne then from Bonn. If you are looking for flats: Do not chose one in Brühl, Sechtem, Troisdorf etc between Bonn and Cologne. The train operates only irregulary on those stations and these towns are not very attractive for students. Bonn on the other hand is a really nice town ;-) Good luck and best wishes!

Hey Andrea! My roomate is moving this weekend to another city due to work. So if you want you can stay here for a few days to look for some other rooms. I live very close to the center and university. Of course you could also take his room, but it is between 400-450€ for a month..so I don't know if it's in your price range?! Anyway just text me if u need a place. Greetings
