backpacker/way to the airport - some advice?

Hey everyone! I need your help/advice :) here's the thing; I'll be in Adelaide for just one night (unfortunately) and will arrive on Thursday, Dec, 4th around 10pm and will have my flight at 9.45am the next day. So I'm wondering if any of you knows a backpacker/cheap hostel that is not too far from the airport and/or if you could tell me what the easiest way to the airport is? I am not against surfing a couch either but I feel like I won't have time to share much considering the little time I'll have so i don't think that would be appreciated.. So please, don't hesitate to give me advice :) Thank you very much!!! Melody

hey there Melody..... Airport hotel is right across the airport....dot think u could get any closer.... and dont think they charge an arm and a leg......

J1 and J2 buses go to and from the airport. $ 5.00 per two hour ticket. Most of the hostels in the city are close to Currie and Grenfell streets which is where the bus goes.

At least you will be here for the last hour of the weekly meeting and you could always surf at Alejandro's place as he will be at the meeting.

I already have four beautiful women at my house already and they will complain if another woman stays here. LOL

Hi, Had a conversation with my recent guests about UBER from airport to the city ( a hostel in the city) . She was quoted fifty dollars for a five kilometre trip so be cautious about using them. The bus ticket is now $ 5.20 after the state budget. If a taxi driver tries to charge more than 15 - 20 dollars for a ride report him as he is ripping you off.

Hey guys! thank you very much for your replies! that helps! Havachat, did you just write a CS request for me to Alejandro? ;) What time do those meetings usually end? it'd be nice to go for sure. I might be there earlier but I don't know the exact time cause I'll come from an organized tour. One last question, how far does the bus take to go to the airport? hey Melody, I have a couch you can crash on if you need. I live 3 mins from the airport so could pickup/dropoff no dramas. Otherwise the Adelaide Airport Motel is very close: http://www.adelaideairportmotel.com.au/ Let me know if you still need help! Ryan
