Hai, there are a lot of traditional food in Indonesia and alao there are places you can find a local food here. But usually there is a special seller for one special food. Or you can all the types of foods in exhibition of food court. But I'm not sure about the taste :)

If you wanna try street foods in Jakarta, i suggest to visit Jalan Sabang / Sabang Street in Central Jakarta, there are a lot of traditional and street foods over there, but they usually open from 5pm onwards daily

Nasi Padang, Satay, Meatball, Soto. The best place to try all of that in Central Area. I prefer go to Pasar Baru. At least it's easy to find all that stuff in one place. And some of them is really legendary.

Where exactly in Jakarta will you stay. Since you better find nearby food station due to the high traffic. If you will be near Sarinah. you can go to Sabang street, You can find local food such as: Satay (grilled meat with stick), Sweet or salted martabak, pempek, etc
