Tip for organizing events?

Hello Kiev ;) How are you guys all doin?

First of all I wish all of you a merry christmas and a very happy new year. I hope 2019 brings you lots of health, luck and happiness :)

This is Alev, born in Bulgaria grew up in Turkey and currently living in Germany.

I am a big traveller (67 countries so far), basketball freak (love to play, follow and write articles) and Space Engineer.

One other important thing about me is being curious about everything in life. I love learning new things 24/7 ;)

As a part of my cultural heritage I love to share all I know with the people around me and during my travels. Therefore I visited orphanages to give lessons about space, arranged events in 5 different countries sharing my travel & professional experiences.

During my visit to Kiev (8-11 March) I am considering of making several talks where I could share my experiences. I have an idea of 2-3 variations and I would like to ask your oponion about the following topics:

1- World Travels: An event where I give tips about the efficient ways of traveling and getting the most of your experiences converning culture, adventure and informtion about the society.

2- How YOU can Space Europe: An event informing people about how they can start a career in the space sector in europe even tough they did not study anything space related.

3- Master in Europe 4Free: An event basicly for University Students or young professionals informing them about the educational system in Europe and how to do Masters or Specialization (for medical students) in their fields (mainly without paying a penny).

All events would surely be in a form of an informal talk ending up with Q&A session.

I am aware that not all the events are relevant to the groups topic (and I apologise for that) but I would be very glad if some group members could asnwer the following questions:

a- Which events do you think would attract more attention in Kiev?

b- What would be your personal estimation about the number of participants for all the events?

c- I am thinking of just creating events and seeing how many will register and based on the number of registrants to arrange a location for a talk. Do you guys have an idea about cafes with a private room for around 30-40 people or more? According to my experience from the event in Istanbul: I limited the event with 60 participants and there were 75 registered (many on the waiting list).

d- I suppose events 2 and 3 would be more suitable for Uiversity students. Do you think it would make sense to create those events in this platform or shall i better contact universities for them or shall I do both?.

e- According to my experience the events held at the universities are better organized by the Student Clubs of the universities. I found the following link (https://kpi.ua/en/node/7295) but most of the orgnaizational pages turned out to be only in Ukrainian when i click on their site. Could any of you probably direct me to a site with some more contact (in English) about the student organizations in Kiev?

If any of you thinks Its easier to make a call in Whatsapp or Viber we could easily arrange a call..

Many thanks for your replies in advance & looking forward to meeting you all in March.

Regards from Germany .

Alev
