While I have hosted a number of guests this would be my first time as a surfer. We-being myself,my daughter and her two daughters (14 and 16) are trying to do a fun trip to Lake Placid. Partially for a family trip and seeing local sites but also because the 16 yr old has been invited to ride for a show barn at the Lake Placid horse show. She is super excited-but she has to pay her own way.-The show dates are June 27-July7 So looking for any info you could provide for economical accommodations and sites that are a can't miss. We are from FL, but I grew up near Buffalo and visited your area as a kid. Thanx for any help
