Hi kasia, it depends on what kind of accommodation you are looking for. If you are comfortable with shared accommodation, that's your private room and rest all that's bathroom, kitchen and living room shared, then finding a room will be a cakewalk. There are lot of letting agencies who can provide you room for a short let. I know it for sunderland, where I stay, but will also be true in case of Newcastle, Durham, hartlepool, middleborough etc. Hope you find my answer helpful Cheers 😊

Hi Kasia ..Id agree with the other CS ..there are plenty of shared /student type lets in Sunderland/Newcastle /Durham. Im from Sunderland , so I can tell you that most accomodation is located near the main University campuses ( eg Chester Road ( central town) ; Roker Avenue, St Peters area (near the river / sea ) . Id think you would get a small room with shared kitchen/ bathroom etc for about 55 pounds/wk . Maybe try contacting the Universities directly as they will have a list of landlords .. Or just Google .. Good luck and enjoy your time here :)
