Seeing the Mormon Temple downtown is fun. Also, there are a lot of hikes near town. The mountain biking is great, most shops should be able to rent a bike. I live in SLC and love the outdoor activities.

Definitely go for a hike/snow shoe and eat a pork salad at Cafe Rio!!! I miss Utah!

If you are looking to relax, The Kura Door is an amazing Japanese Spa in the Avenues, Massage, facials, steam and sauna (but definitely on the pricier side!).

Healing Mountain Massage School is great for cheap massages from students! I went to school there and it’s an awesome, safe, relaxing place to go. But you get what you pay for, so I recommend at least getting an advanced student or LMT.

Walk around Temple square, you are in the hub of Mormonism! And the grounds are gorgeous in the spring.

Walk around the avenues to see beautiful old houses. And as weird as it sounds the avenues cemetery is fascinating - old graves, famous Mormon leaders are buried there, and you can find the grave “666 victim of the beast”.

Broadway theater shows fun indie films.

Unfortunately you HAVE to be 21 to go to bars here.

Seeing the Mormon temple is not that fun, get out and go on a hike, there’s hiking behind the capital or city creek canyon as well. Renting a bicycle is fun though too. Go rock climbing!

Hike Ensign Peak to get a great view of the city!

I live in the Salt Lake area and would be happy to hang out or show you around, and we could do a number of these suggestions already offered. Temple Square has many tours, Ensign Peak is close as well and an easy hike with an amazing view as mentioned, tons of great food and other things to see and do as well. I also have a spare room if you need a place to stay!
