Trip to Santa Barbara and Channel Islands

Hey there! I plan to spend the weekend around memorial day (May 26-28) in Santa Barbara area. I would love to meet up with some locals to get to know the city and preferably also spend one day at one of the channel islands. Any recommendations and/or people wanting to hang out and show me a bit around? I am easy-going and adventurous ;) Lisa

Island packers has a trip to Santa Cruz Island. They will drop you off in the morning and pick you up later in the afternoon. IP is based in Ventura at Channel Islands NP.

I highly recommend staying overnight (you’ll need to bring your own gear like a tent)
