Пост в Trans Siberian/Mongolian train and places, Visa info, How to buy tickets, etc

Hi,

I’m trying to get more info regarding this trip. Any help, links , info will all be appreciated. I want to hop on and off the train to explore the countries more. I read somewhere it can be done if I buy Tkt through a travel agent. Any ideas? Suggestions? Any places that I should not miss in this route. I love outdoor activities , art, culture, food, national parks, rock climbing. Please suggest, I’m trying to make my itinerary. Also is it safe for solo female traveler? I might have friends joining for some parts.
