HOWEVER since at some point you can't cross the streets here anymore (not allowed to enter the way of the parade - and far too many spectators to get thru first anyways...) Plus 78 decorated floats, 19 parody wagons (with large paper mâché figures commenting on current events) and about 70 baggage trucks on which they store all the sweets to be thrown during the parade: 300 tons of sweets, 700,000 bars of chocolate, 220,000 boxes of pralines, 300,000 bunches of flowers, thousands of soft toys and other gift articles!
