The Mandan Hidatsa Arikara (MHA) Indian Horse Relay returns to the North Dakota State Fair in Minot for two nights in July 2026. The event is a traditional Native American bareback race featuring high-speed horse exchanges.  Event Schedule: Semi-Finals: Monday, July 20, 2026 and Championship: Tuesday, July 21, 2026 Time: Both nights are scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM CDT at the Grandstand.  The event features vibrant pageantry, including MHA Dancers on the main stage during intermissions, providing a rich cultural experience beyond the race.
