CURRENT MISSION Taking it easy and enjoying the small wonders there are on Earth, as company of family and good friends, and our local Couchsurfing community in Oulu. :) ABOUT ME I am an open-minded person and always like to meet new people and make friends. I am quite emotional guy, you can find in me humor, joy and melancholism. I live quite quiet and simple life. I smile a lot and treat people with good manner, I am a pretty social fella and friendly dude. On the other hand I'm quite shy, many times at least for beginning. The main thing always is how we treat another human, with which kind of attitude we see people, environment, world in general. Not ever aiming to hurt anyone, but appreciate the each other. To remember "the golden rule". I like meeting people, being a friend, listen to and share. We people are in world for others. No one cannot go alone. We should concentrate in life on beauty and love, and live this moment. Not to worry the past or tomorrow. Respect the life itself and other people. Enjoy the good moments there are, as there's a lot of cold in this world, too.

I’ve been involved in volunteer and mission work for many years, and one of the things I value most in life is people. I genuinely enjoy meeting others from different cultures, hearing their stories, and learning how people live around the world. I love traveling, not just to see famous places, but to experience the real side of each country. The culture, the food, the conversations, the everyday life, the beautiful moments and the difficult ones too. My goal is to visit as many countries as possible and leave behind kindness, encouragement, and good memories wherever I go. I’m naturally social, caring, and people oriented. Someone once told me I fit the ESFJ personality type quite well, and honestly it makes sense. I enjoy creating meaningful connections and making people feel welcome and comfortable. I believe everyone has something valuable to offer this world. Life is too short to live only for yourself. If you can encourage someone, help someone, inspire someone, or simply make their day a little better, then do it. If you are new to Couchsurfing and do not have references yet, that is completely okay. Just put some effort into your profile and your request. I get excited about coffee and cinnamon buns, but I'm even more passionate about science, music, art, equality and environmental protection. For me, ecological sustainability is a way of life that is reflected in all my daily choices. That's why I'm also a big fan of good vegan food, especially when it comes to exploring something new while sharing it with others. I absolutely love sharing carefully curated restaurant and event recommendations, and would be thrilled to receive some too! I'm all about live music, contemporary art and community-based underground DIY events.

CURRENT MISSION carpe diem ABOUT ME Easygoing happy person who wants to widen the world throughout meeting new and different people. I live with my spouse and my teenager(17) in countryside about 12 km southeast from Oulu city center. We like music, outdoor life, traveling and meeting new people. We have had travelers through Servas from many countries and also many au pairs and exchange students living with us so there is always some cultural exchange going on :)
