Vanakkam! I’m Bhuvani from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. I’m a travel lover and I enjoy meeting people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. I know how much a local host can change a travel experience, so I’m happy to host travelers when I’m available. I live in Thanjavur city with my mom. Sometimes I stay alone, depending on my travel/work schedule. Our home is in the city, so it is easy to reach most places because Thanjavur is not a very big city. The Big Temple, bus stand, railway station, food places, and local areas are all accessible. We have two rooms, and I can offer one room for guests to stay. You can use the kitchen, and you are welcome to cook if you want. If my mom is at home, there is a good chance you may get some nice homemade Tamil food too. I may not always be able to take you around all the tourist places because of work and travel plans, but I can help with local tips. When possible, I can take you to some local hangout spots, food places, or simple everyday places where you can experience real Thanjavur life. I’m easy-going, respectful, and I like guests who are also respectful, clean, and open-minded. This is not a hotel, it is a home, so I expect simple kindness and basic respect. House Rules: Please keep the room and common areas clean. No smoking inside the house. No drugs, no heavy drinking, and no parties. Please respect my mom, our home, and our local culture. Inform me before bringing anyone else to the house. Use the kitchen properly and clean after cooking. Please do not waste electricity, water, or food. Keep noise low at night. Check-in and check-out time can be flexible, but please discuss with me before. Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, not just free accommodation, so please come with a good attitude.
