Born in India 🇮🇳, shaped in the US 🇺🇸, spent 3+ years in Japan 🇯🇵, and now traveling across Asia 🌏 Though my daily routine is simple, I carry Mark Twain’s words close to heart: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” I’m still on that journey—and every new adventure keeps things exciting. Travel & Kindness: My travels have taken me through Cambodia, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, the U.K., the U.S., and more. Everywhere I’ve gone, small acts of generosity—like a warm smile or a shared meal—have reminded me that kindness can bridge any gap in language or culture. Food, especially, is a universal connector that brings people together in delightful ways. Hosting & Home: While big cities can be energetic and chaotic, I value having a calm, respectful space to rest and recharge. I host because I believe in paying kindness forward—no expectations, no strings attached. Good conversations, mutual respect, and positive energy matter far more than anything else. Ready & Resilient: I’m fully vaccinated (COVID-19 and monkeypox). I don’t speak every local language, but technology usually bridges the gap just fine. Interests & Inclusivity: * When I’m not exploring or hosting, I love: * Running, outdoor activities, and volleyball * Movies, music, and traveling * Massage therapy and meditation (especially Vipassana) * Discovering new food scenes and savoring Asian cuisine I’m also an LGBTQ+ friendly host who believes in celebrating the beauty of diversity. Everyone is welcome! So, let’s meet, share stories, and celebrate the joy of travel—together. I’m always excited to welcome fellow explorers into my home, swap travel tales, and experience the wonders of our world. Come on—let’s connect and Couchsurf together!
After graduating from university, I decided to set off on a 90-day journey around Europe to see more of the world. I’m passionate about writing and filmmaking, and I’ve worked on a few short films and music videos. During this trip, I hope to meet people from all over the world, listen to their stories, and share some of my own. Just adept to environmental and flow with it

Hi! I’m Jia from Taiwan :) I work in creative/content production, so I spend a lot of time thinking about ideas, making things, taking photos, and occasionally overthinking everything haha. I love traveling, good food, coffee, wandering around neighborhoods, and finding little places that aren’t necessarily on the tourist list. I’m also the kind of person who can happily spend half a day walking around with no particular plan. I’m pretty easygoing and curious about people and different ways of living. I enjoy having a drink, sharing a meal, chatting about random things, or just doing our own thing in the same space. I’m also respectful of personal space and house rules. I’m using Couchsurfing because I’d love to experience a place not just as a tourist, but through the people who actually live there. Hopefully we can share some good food, stories, and a few memorable moments along the way :)
