If you have fever the day you arrive, please do not come. Born and raised in Xián so I can show you some very local places like local restaurants I usually go to or the national parks if you want to climb a mountain with me or maybe we can cook together because I like to cook. I won't show you famous tourists sites. I've been to every one of them over 100 times because I am a tour guide. I basically can give you a brief introduction of all tourists sites. I am also an English teacher. I want to bring the world to my class. So if you are willing to tell your stories to my students then I am willing to host you. --The place I host is my work place and you will have your private room. While you stay here, you may meet a lot of kids, please be nice to them. I and my students are willing to meet people from all over the world and we try to widen our minds and horizon by talking with different people and listening to their philosophy. Chinese students are shy sometimes. Talk with them, please. So if you are nice and talkative and patient and willing to talk with my students, send me a request. --Please be conservative to all the electricity and water and all the other stuff you use in the apartment. Keeping clean and tidy is also necessary!Do not use the things I ask you not to in the apartment. Some of them are not mine. And you can't take a shower or cook when I work. --If you confirm your stay here please let me know your probable arriving time at least one day before because I need to plan my errands. I am fun, compassionate, occasionally sarcastic. I used to travel a lot, but now settled down to co-raise a mini human being and a carnivore (a cat in her essence) with my partner. Oh I live in Xi’an. My apartment is located in the southern suburb of the city, on average 1 hour by subway from most of the tourist sites (excluding Terra Cotta Warriors which is 3-4 hours away). For travelers who plan to pop in and out of the city, I’d recommend hotels and hostels at downtown. What I expect from guests I enjoy hosting guests who are curious about people and places, not just passing through. I appreciate thoughtful communication before requesting to stay, basic independence during the visit, and a genuine interest in cultural exchange. I value mutual respect, open conversations, and small shared moments—whether that’s talking over tea, cooking together, or exchanging perspectives.
