- I live alone in Shinjuku in a small studio apartment, but usually can't host - If I don't reply, it's because my subscription is expired - 日本語大丈夫! 그리고, 한국어를 공부해요 - I travelled all over Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan for 14 months. It was my first time couchsurfing and volunteering, and it changed my life - You can verify me on Instagram: @kesemsan - I hold a multidisciplinary BA in arts and humanities from Tel-Aviv University (majored in literature, psychoanalysis, art, and cinema) and an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia - I love anything Japanese, Greek, and Roman. In July 2024, I finally moved to Japan, but living in Athens between 479-404 B.C would've been amazing
Spent most of my adulthood after college traveling. Did volunteer work in South America for a year. Workaway in Europe. Ukraine in 2016 with English teaching and refugee help. Puerto Rico after the hurricanes. Traveled across USA both ways on motorcycle multiple times as well as across Mexico. Currently traveling with my two friends, Hannah and Sebastian. We have been on the road for almost three years camping, doing work exchanges, and meeting new people along the way. We are currently traveling Japan and just bought a house in Nagasaki! If you are visiting Nagasaki and want to experience a traditional Japanese home built in 1961 with amazing city views and close to everything feel free to reach out as we would love to host you. I do not offer a free hotel. If you send me a message please respect my place and it will go a long way. If you are interested in checking out where we have been and what we’ve done you can follow our travel instagram @smallworldbigsebbie !
Hi there, I’m Rikushi from Japan. I love to discover new things. New things like visiting new places, hearing others' thoughts, experiencing whatever new to me. That's why I'm here on CS! I'm looking forward to hearing your interesting stories of traveling Japan and off course other countries! I’m happy with either host or just hanging out:) I’ve been to around 40 countries, including half year long Silk Road journey. So I hope I also have something to share:)
“IMPORTANT” I can accept your request from EARLY MAY! I was born in Hyogo pre. and having been living Saitama pre. There is only one moment when I was not in Hyogo. It was Canada when I was 22 years old for seven months. It was a good opportunity to know my home country from different perspective. Another turning point in my life is April 2022 when I found a website called 'couchsurfing'. At the time, I have been traveling around Japan -All (47) prefectures by hitchhiking. Thanks to this website, I met great people. I have been helped a lot and now I would like to return the favor. So I would like to welcome many guests to my home!

▪️ If you haven’t read my profile all the way through, I’ll cancel right away. ▪️My Mission In the past, I traveled to many countries around the world. I worked hard and earned a lot of money to make that possible. However, my values have changed over time. Now, I believe the most important thing is to spend quality time with loved ones and to meet new people. I also want to help backpackers by encouraging them to use Couchsurfing and experience meaningful connections. ▪️plan for 2026 ・5/9 flea market 西武園競馬場 https://www.instagram.com/bokuranocarboots?igsh=MXIwanJ5NW93MXdhcw== ▪️recommend place /Restaurant-Recommendations-in-Tokyo-325869e310e38080b013da489411ebba?source=copy_link ▪️cheap esim in japan https://jp.trip.com/things-to-do/detail/45999298?locale=ja-JP&curr=JPY ▪️best ramen in tokyo https://motley-tuck-237.notion.site/best-ramen-in-tokyo-344869e310e3801b8578dc6f7aa12b95?source=copy_link ▪️house rule Check-in: Please come between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays. On weekends, please come anytime from noon until 9:00 PM. If you’re going out: Please return home by 9:00 PM. If you’re going to come back late at night, please don’t stay over. ▪️Philosophy Focus on the present moment to create happiness with the people you love—that’s something only humans can truly do. The past cannot be changed, and the future is unpredictable. If you don’t take risks, life loses its value. You can earn back money, but you can never get back lost time. You can buy things, but you can’t buy genuine friendship or someone’s true feelings. And you can’t buy the experiences from the choices you didn’t make in the past. ▪️Important Note I cannot host guests who do not have a local SIM card (for safety and communication reasons). If you have read this entire profile, please start your message with the words “SIM CARD” so I know you’ve read it carefully. and tell me why you want to stay with me . Thank you!
Please read the profile and house rules carefully before making a request. I work for a Japanese telecommunications company. I've never been abroad before. I'd be happy if you could teach me a lot about the world. I'll make you a typical home cooked Japanese meal If I have a time, so I'd be happy if you brought me some delicious snacks and beer from around the world.Exchange for Japanese dish or sweets

Hi, I'm Aiyami :) Czech girl who just exploring South Korea for next 7 weeks by hitchhiking 🤩 Looking for hosts and new friends to show me this beautiful and interesting country! In case you want to meet me, show me your city, let me know 🙃 I will be glad even for recommendations of off beat paths, places or interesting spots! _________________________ Taken since January 2021❤️! Lived in 🇨🇿🇬🇧🇩🇪🇬🇷🇵🇹🇻🇳🇵🇱 now = 🇯🇵 I'm just a regular girl in black, colourful hair and some tattoos who loves heavy music (and Stray Kids 🤪) and traveling :) My dream - every year (or two) live in another country and discover them😍 People, culture, places = the whole experience!
CURRENT MISSION I want to have friends from all over the world ABOUT ME I am a hybrid (there's Japanese, Spanish, and Filipino blood in me). I have a tweenage girl who lives in Manila with my mom, while I work and live in Yokohama. I save my money for a nice trip with them, but will feel guilty spending money just for myself so I don't travel a lot. I am easily amused, like that happy dog you see at the back of someone's car looking out the window. I will gawk at random things: a beat down shed or a tree. I can go to touristy places, but am happier when I literally take the road less traveled. PHILOSOPHY You can do whatever you want to do, as long as you don't negatively affect the people you care about.
