ABOUT ME I grew up in the beautiful city of Oxford, a 5 minute cycle from the centre (everyone cycles in Oxford), which is still my favourite place in the world, despite its opulence. I'm a child of two pyschoanalysts and seem to have survived the experience, though I'd say "weird" is the most common adjective I've heard people use to describe me - though it seems to be a compliment when they do. I'm pretty normal in most ways though - I'm confident when I'm comfortable, shy when I feel out of place, mostly ungrateful about my fortune and hungry for new experiences, happy when I eat food or I'm in good company and I like to be good company for others. PHILOSOPHY To treasure the time we have, and resolve to use it well, counting each moment as precious - a chance to apprehend some truth, to experience some beauty, to conquer some evil, to relieve some suffering, to love and be loved, to achieve something of lasting worth. Hay que aprovechar el tiempo que tenemos, contar cada momento como un tesoro - una oportunidad de comprender algo verdad, apreciar algo bella, conquistar algo malvado, aliviar algun sufrimiento, amar y ser amado, lograr algo que dura siempre.

We are a couple living in Oxford, UK. Matteo, Italian - this is originally my profile - and Andonis, who's a US and Greek citizen. I work in global health, which is how I ended up living for a few years between Sierra Leone and Ethiopia. My job still takes me regularly to the African continent for short visits. Andonis works in academia on ptogramme supporting access to education for refugees and displaced people. We love being on the move and meeting people across cultures. On our ideal trip we visit a friend who lives far away, discover the place through their eyes, and share with them the unexpected. We are arranging our place in Oxford so that we'll soon be able to have people over.
Hi! We are James and Will, a couple originally from Australia, who have settled in the UK after several years travelling. We're both engineers, into outdoors, food, motorbikes, wine, music, geeky stuff, mtb, burning man, intelligent conversation, skiing, silliness, dogs, and relaxed open-minded people. ------------- Dont care where your from, your skin colour, who you screw, who/what you worship, what music you like - diversity is always one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of other humans (however if you happen to have blue skin, thats just awesome!)
