I am just a man on this world. Skilled farmer, development worker, mechanic, veterinarian... Enthusiastic motorcycle rider. For traveling, not for racing. Did Cairo to Cape Town in 2018/19 with a friend and solo from Sept. 2022 to March 2023 a seven months no-plan journey around the southern countries of East Africa and partly together with my youngest daughter (than 14 years). In summer 2023 I traveled together with my son (then 13 years) around Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi and Zimbabwe. In 2024 Tanzania and Zambia again...and 2025... And I love books. I need them around me, right next to me and always at least one in my backpack. If not yet, discover the miracle of reading. Just do it.
About Me — À propos de moi EN I never quite know how to describe myself, but people usually find me easy to get along with and fairly uncomplicated — at least most of the time. If you like categories: in Western astrology I’m a Pisces, in the Chinese zodiac a Fire Sheep, and according to the MBTI I’m an INFP. None of this will tell you much about me, of course, but getting to know someone in person usually works better anyway. Feel free to ask me anything. One thing I prefer to mention openly: I’m gay. It won’t affect your stay in any way, and you’ll be completely safe and comfortable at my place. I respect all backgrounds, beliefs and identities, and I enjoy cultural exchange and good conversations. What I don’t enjoy are situations where guests feel the need to “fix” or “correct” who I am. Respect goes both ways. If my orientation is a problem for you, choosing a different host will probably make everyone happier.
