MYSELF CONSIDERED I have lived as both a son and a father, a student and a teacher, a beggar and a lender, a brother and a stranger, a native and a foreigner. I have spent most of my life until now travelling the world through other people—those who have come to my part of the world and blessed me with their experience of my own homeland, my own culture, my own language, my own people. I truly have had the privilege of sharing my table and to unwittingly reap from those sitting across from me more than I sowed. All that to say, people can only be described in so many words, and I am no exception. I used to ask people 'what they DO' and quickly found out that the answer is so often disconnected from what who they actually ARE—who they are created to be. I am not simply, for instance, a musician, a store manager, a husband, or a father—those hats I wear from time to time; I am these things, but they are not the reason for which I was created. I believe that I was created to be a table maker. I am most fulfilled when I am preparing those kinds of places to which people bring themselves to be filled, to find rest, and to share themselves. I am however only an apprentice to this craft, but I enjoy the pleasure of having had many wonderful teachers during the course of my life. That is who I am and am becoming.
CURRENT MISSION To travel the world, for cheap. ABOUT ME I'm an Australian/American who is currently living out life in Dallas, TX. I try to spend as much of my time in nature as possible. PHILOSOPHY I live my life to gain a better understanding of the people around me. If we do not all learn together, then it would be as if we learned nothing at all.
Hey! I'm Christopher. Some of my favorite activities are camping, hiking, kayaking, trail running, and just having meaningful conversations with people. I'm happy to join travelers or locals to do outdoor activities, visit museums, explore a new neighborhood, or even visit touristy locations. I work remotely and often rent an apartment in a city for a few months to experience the culture and to learn what it’s like to live as a local there. Then, I move to a new place and repeat. When I explore new cities, I typically have a couch in whatever apartment I rent, so I host people as I travel. I've hosted people all over the world in whatever country I happened to be living in at the time from France across Europe and then back to the U.S. Right now I’m in hosting in Dallas, Texas.
I'm a very easy going person and love to learn new things. Obviously, I love traveling but that’s probably everyone on CS. I recently traveled around the world (15 countries in 40 days) and met really amazing people from all walks of life.

CURRENT MISSION to break the sound barrier ABOUT ME I am a mostly introverted person who loves music, a lot! I enjoy blogging, cooking and vegetable gardening.
Traveling is my passion and my goal is to travel at least 50 countries of the world, I have already been to 43 countries and 7 more to go. I am based in the Dallas Texas USA for the last 20 years and also spent 5 of my life in Sydney Australia.
I love Travel Adventure and experiencing different cultures. And it's always best to have a local to have the best experience in a short amount of time.
Trabajo en American Airlines en Dallas. Vivo solo con mi perrito. Mi pasión viajar por el mundo y conocer de Historia. / I work at American Airlines in Dallas. I live alone with my dog. My passion is traveling the world and knowing about History.
I like to meet new people, explore new places, culture & cuisines.
Hi, I’m Sravani. I work as DevOps Engineer ( yeah, for the living ) - Remote from Dallas, TX. I love to take photographs, go for long walks ( I really do admire the nature ) and this is the year I have realized there’s so much more for me to travel and explore. So instead of being a couch potato, starting to couchsurf ( nvm, I’m just yapping 🙂)
CURRENT MISSION Do it all before the clock runs out. ABOUT ME I learn something every day, often unlearning something I thought I knew the day before. PHILOSOPHY Cultural tolerance isn’t enough. We must learn through peer to peer interactions. Eating, drinking, living, laughing, crying and certainly Couchsurfing.
My name is Nathan and I would like to visit the many incredible places in the world and meet people from all over to share our experiences and stories! I'm Texas born and raised by a Mexican momma, my endless curiosity helps me want to learn cool stuff and be the best person I can be. My day job is engineering technician for a big semiconductor company, but my passion is learning about material science. I'm big into exercising and working on craft projects too, but I love having a good conversation with interesting people (couchsurfers always are :) )
