I would describe myself as Adventurous, adaptive and authentic. Making connections with individuals from various cultures is a true joy for me, as it allows me to delve deeper into the essence of each place I visit. I am also a frequent flyer. Curiously, I find the most peaceful and restful moments when I am high above the clouds, embracing the serenity that accompanies air travel.

I've been on CS since Summer of 2018 and it's been such a fun experience meeting people from all over the world that love to travel. Aside from traveling I really enjoy being outdoors, yoga, hiking, snowboarding, photography/videography, biking. and exploring new places. Couchsurfing has been a great way to meet new people, learn about different cultures and find some friends in the community for when I'm able to travel more.

ABOUT ME First trip to Europe at 24 and haven't looked back... been to England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands, Hungary, Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica Canada, Mexico, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Argentina and 46 States. Also a biologist and musician. PHILOSOPHY Travelers are a different breed, cut from the same cloth, and the absolute coolest people to identify with. It takes one to know one. Live for the moment and find your true self while traveling.

I'm passionate about living life to the fullest and getting the most out of every single day. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow so we shouldn't waste any time worrying about things out of our control. I cherish new experiences and constantly thirst for more knowledge because learning should be a life-long endeavor. You can always grow and be better than you were yesterday. Complacency breeds mediocrity and I’ve never been the type to waste away in a cubicle. I grew up in the United States and have lived in Detroit, San Diego and Las Vegas. I travel semi-frequently and try to soak in as much culture as I can. Friends mean the world to me and I appreciate the relationships we’ve developed over the years. I’m fairly laid back and don’t take myself too seriously. While I work and live in a corporate environment, I maintain my sanity by trying to laugh at myself and the things around me. Life is meant to be enjoyed through the experiences we share with others, not by the profitability of a new marketing initiative or expected ROI from a transition to new technology platform. I have a tendency to think and live outside the box. Adults make things too complicated. The path less traveled is the sometimes the more interesting journey. Karma is a ***** and I try to treat others better than they would treat myself. Contributing positively to society and being a good global citizen are important to me because there are enough people in the world that only look out for themselves.

CURRENT MISSION Rediculously good at wingin’ it ABOUT ME I was born in Brooklyn, NY but now live in Las Vegas. I live in the super artsy, creative downtown section of Las Vegas. I'm a cinematographer who films fashion, lifestyle and various branded content productions. I also direct music videos and short films. I absolutely love to travel and soak up local culture. In return, I love showing new and returning visitors all that Las Vegas has to offer. Since Las Vegas is constantly changing and evolving, I like to reveal as many exciting experiences as possible. If you are into nightlife - Las Vegas has it all and should be on your TDL (to-do -list) while you are here. I have a lot of nightlife connections and maybe you can join me one evening. I love hip wine bars and secret art galleries and underground lounges that host awesome parties. There are so many daily Las Vegas events and I love keeping up with all the excitement. If you couch surf at my apartment I will show you all the cool things that we locals do So let's ride bikes through Las Vegas, stopping at cute cafes for croissants and coffee and take beautiful pictures along the ways. CURRENT MISSION I am a retired educator. Taught mostly middle school and developmental math at the college level. Enjoy meeting people. I only host males. I will NOT accept generic requests, they must be personal telling me a little about you and why you would like to stay at my place. You MUST also like dogs. If I offer to host I MUST get a confirmation of that offer within 24 hours or it will be declined. Also, due to a bad couchsurfer that I hosted, you will be asked to leave my house when I am not there. ABOUT ME I enjoy hiking in the mountains and desert. Easy going guy. Also enjoy country line dancing. Enjoy going to plays, concerts, dinners out, and relaxing. I also do yoga 2 times a week and I have just started Tai Chi. I like to treat myself to the day spa on occasion and go to Tecopa to the hot springs. I am also a single gay male and have no problems with nudity in the house or the back patio. I also have a hot tub on the patio that you would be welcome to use. I only ask that you do not wear any clothing in it.
