Born and raised in Rome, I live in the eternal city but Menorca (Balearic Islands, Spain) is my second home and I spend there part of the year. I travel for work so I'm sorry but I may accepting guests only when I'm in Spain. When I'm free of work, I can be an "unconventional" tourist guide in Rome (for free of course!). Have you ever visit Rome in a summer evening on a motorbike? 🏍 Trust me, it's a great experience and a special way to visit beautiful places in a short time. For me it's a good chance to practice English, Spanish or other languages in a funny way and maybe eat a delicious ice cream in company or drink a coffee! ☕️ Roman people like to joke so ... I hope you have a good sense of humor ... it's healthy and makes your life better! :)

Hello everyone, My name is Pere (though you’re welcome to call me Pe). I am 31 years old and was born in Menorca, a beautiful island in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, where I currently live. I am passionate about sports, particularly basketball and running. Beyond physical activity, I greatly enjoy dining out, sharing a good beer alongside engaging conversation, and immersing myself in music. I also love watching films in their original language and playing music whenever I can. I have been an active Couchsurfing member for many years as a traveler, and I now feel inspired to host in order to give back some of what this wonderful community has given me during my journeys around the world. 🚀 If you want me to host you, you need to start your hosting request with a joke ;)

Chico divertido, ahora mismo no trabajo
I’m a curious traveler drawn to local traditions, rituals, and everyday life. Rather than rushing from one attraction to another, I enjoy slowing down, listening, and learning from the people who call a place home. Whether trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, crossing Vietnam by motorbike, riding the iron ore train across Mauritania, or walking alongside locals from Puno to Cusco during the 2022 blockades, the journey has always mattered more than the destination. The moments I remember most have come from the generosity of others: sharing daily life with families, spending time in indigenous communities in the Amazon, helping build a travelers' house in Bolivia and joining a Pachamama ceremony, attending a newborn's baptism in Senegal, visiting a Zapatista Caracol in Chiapas, or witnessing the unique blend of Mayan and Catholic traditions in San Juan Chamula. I'm fascinated by the different ways people celebrate life and honor death. From the joy of carnivals in Brazil, Colombia, Italy, and Spain to Hindu cremation ceremonies in India and Nepal, Umbanda gatherings in Bahia, María Lionza traditions in Venezuela, and Toraja funerals in Indonesia, each experience has reminded me that every culture has its own beautiful way of understanding the world. Food is another way I connect with people. I'm happy to try almost anything, not for the novelty, but as a small gesture of respect and gratitude toward those who share their table. Through Couchsurfing and my travels, I've learned that some of the richest experiences begin with a simple invitation to sit down, eat together, and talk.
