I moved back to Villach and i have some space for you ;d ………………………..,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,,,.,.,.,.,.,.,,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,,.,.,..,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,. I have a heart of an Arab and a mind of a Westerner. I raised in Egypt, and in 2016 I took off to start my masters in Austria. Since then, I have been on an amazing journey where I traveled, studied, and worked in such great working fields. I have been living in Austria for almost 3 years, and recently i have moved to Munich to start a new job there. I am a little bit cozy person; I am an engineer who is in touch with microchips. I work in technology by day and I do things like clubbing, smoking shisha, and cardboard etching by night. you can find me in a meeting with BMW managers in a formal suit at 8 am and in a shitty 2 € bar at 1 am .
Im Musician and Clown, I love the circus life dancing and beiing outside, One important Quest in my life is how to get into connection with nature, people and myself through dancing, sharing, meditations, slow walking, playing.
Me in a nutshell 🫖 Tea drinker 🎒 Backpacker 🍭 create mind 💃🏼 Dancing 🥘 happy to share food 🚌 I like to do things the local way while traveling, In April 2020 when Charlie (as I like to call the virus 🦠) hit I was supposed to start my world trip. After being stuck for a few months I managed to start my trip and was lucky to visit several amazing countries in Europe. Spend one of many lockdowns harvesting olives in Greece, went back to Austrian winter at the end of the year, and shortly after found myself surfing in Mexico. Now three years later I am somehow still on the road thanks to a 100% remote job. Taking life as it comes.

Hello! 👋 I am Florian, originally from beautiful Austria, capital city Vienna. I’m 29 years old, studied civil and environmental engineering and am now working on my own company in the fields of consulting, marketing and finance. Professionally versatile, privately curious - that's how I would describe myself best in less words. What it means exactly I would say you will find out. In other words: I live by the principle that my father taught me: do not do to others what you would not want done to yourself. I see this as a guiding principle for all areas of life. Be it professionally or privately. On a respectful level with consideration for each other, the world can/would be a much warmer place and I try to inspire others by doing it by myself. I grew up in Vienna, the capital of Austria, with 5 sisters and lived in Germany and Dubai for several years. Traveling has shaped me a lot, but also the last 3 years: I was able to get to know different cultures and religions, have wonderful experiences with an Indian guru and also discover a certain connection to Buddhism. The last few years in particular have shown me how valuable gratitude and appreciation are. Not only beautiful but also challenging experiences have given me depth and enriched my view of life and other life travelers. I believe that people are what make a place special. For me, it's less about the sights and more about the encounters and moments you share - sometimes light and full of laughter, sometimes profound and quiet. For me, life is a dance between giving and taking, between yin and yang. That's why it's important to me to give the other person a good time and, ideally, to create unforgettable moments together that make life worth living. I like to travel, cook, take photos and talk about everything from personal stories to business, activ hobbies or investment strategies. In the end, however, I am all about creating real connections and experiencing encounters that fulfill both sides. Having friends all over the world is wonderful and who knows where in the world I'll be able to make new friends next. I am just as happy about one-off moments as long-term "pen pals"/friendships. I look forward to getting to know you. Best regards Florian
Hey! My name is Klaus and I am a student from Austria. Since I learned walking, I love exploring the world (as a child I used every unobserved moment to ran away from my parents, sorry for that :D). Freedom, independance and spontaneity are very important values for me. I am a really bad but passionate guitar player and an even worse singer. Unintended listeneres like my neighboors may confirm this. I am better in doing paintings, currently with water colours. As I studied Philosophy I have to afford a living someday -somehow-. So when I grow up I would like to afford a living with paintings and art (plan b: breeding guinea pigs), hoping still I will not die of starvation someday. Speaking of that I am vegan. But sometimes I eat other stuff than grains or grass. My dedication belongs to nature. I love hiking, camping, wandering under trees or simply lying in the grass or watching sunsets. In this regard I am very uncomplicated. If you put me in front of an ocean I can watch it for hours (if so, please check once a while if I am still breathing). Besides nature in general I also love all kind of living things like flowers or animals (except penguins, they are truly evil). https://www.instagram.com/klausalvered/
Hello World! I’m John 😎 Originally from the Philippines. Lived in Singapore for 11 years. Found our new home in Villach, Austria. So my wife, our children and myself would like to welcome you into our home 🥰. Oh yeah, I have a degree in BS Electronics and Communications Engineering. I have a goal to travel alone once a year to learn more about the wonderful world we live in. But usually it ends up watching a tennis 🎾 tournament then working around it 😜.
Hey everyone! :) My name is Semi, I’m from Austria, and I’m still at the beginning of my world trip! I have a Master’s degree in Electrical Energy and Mobility Systems, focusing on things like electric vehicles and alternative energy concepts. I worked for a few years at Infineon Technologies as a Verification Engineer in the automotive semiconductor sector. So trust me… I am an engineer :D And then I quit. 😂 I’m still working a little bit at a university as a supervisor, and apart from that I somehow also ended up in the world of trading… (which is not profitable until NOW. NOT. AT. ALL. :D) This is my first time travelling solo and I absolutely LOVE it. I’ve already met so many amazing people along the way. Sometimes, though, it can be surprisingly difficult to find a genuine connection with people, which is why I started using Couchsurfing — and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made during my travels. My plan is to discover the world, meet interesting people, learn from different cultures and experiences, and keep educating myself in every possible way. I’m also a crypto enthusiast and I’m involved with a project called Renegade, which is basically… let’s call it a crypto bank. :D Besides that, I’m pretty addicted to the gym and have quite a lot of experience when it comes to training and nutrition. So if you need someone to discuss workouts, food or why your training plan probably needs some changes… I’m your guy. :D In August 2023, I also started a YouTube channel, if you want to have a look: "YouTube – Semilarious" (https://reference-url-citation.invalid/0) I’m definitely not claiming to be a professional video maker. :D Most of the videos are basically my personal travel diary — a way for me to keep the stories, memories and stupid things I’ve done along the way. And hey, YouTube is free online storage, so why not? :D And maybe I’m a slightly weird Austrian, but I have never drunk alcohol or taken any kind of recreational drugs in my life. :D Normally, beer is basically running through Austrian veins, so I guess I’m a bit of an exception. But that doesn’t mean I’m boring — let’s go party and I’ll show you that you don’t need alcohol as fuel! :D One small thing about Couchsurfing I’m straight and I’m interested in women, but I’m not using Couchsurfing as a dating platform. For me, hosting or staying with someone is about meeting people, sharing experiences, learning about each other’s cultures and having a good time as travellers. So please don’t interpret a Couchsurfing request as a dating invitation. :) I’m completely respectful of everyone’s orientation and lifestyle — I just want to keep Couchsurfing about what I’m actually here for: people, travel, experiences and good connections. Thanks for reading and maybe see you somewhere around the world! Semi
CURRENT MISSION Figuring out how to dad :P I'm trying to become superdad. Learning about appreciation, approval, techniques to overcome my fears and how to translate my intrinsic dogmas. Moreover I'm jumping out of planes for fun :) ABOUT ME We have two little boys (born February 2017 and June 2019) and a dog (Australian Sheppard). Well, it's hard to describe yourself. Therefore I made some personality tests and the results are: caring, compassionate, tolerant, independent, open minded, progressive, warm, imaginative, creative, curious by nature. I take life not that serious, I'm keen on traveling (surprise surprise) and exploring the world. I finished my European voluntary service (EVS) in a Kindergarten in Poland. It was fun to work with those kids. I tried to teach them some English and German while they taught me Polish. I finished my Bachelor in Health and Nursing Science at the Medical University in Graz / Austria. From 2012 I studied Global Health in the Netherlands Maastricht University, Thailand at Thammasat University, India at Manipal University and Sudan at Ahfad University. For the last 5 years I work as self-employed tour guide across Europe in the summers and in 2015 I started a research position at university in Salzburg. In 2018 I became junior researcher at the institute for applied research on aging at CUAS in Villach. I started a solar start up and was my own boss for three years. Now I work as a project manager for renewable energy. But I might always have itchy feet and look for something new to discover.
Hey folks, welcome to a short introduction into the life of Salih. I’m 22 years young, based in the beautiful Austria, love sports and traveling:)) I‘m a very patient, reliable and honest person, always down to expand my consciousness and meet new people. Currently studying environment and Ressource management and looking forward to outdoor rave season:))
