I am a person who worships outdoors. I was born and raised among the sky-kissing mountains of the Karakorum and the Himalayas. I love the seclusion of mountains where nature has not been manipulated by the hands of modern man. Walking through these picturesque mountains over all these years has bestowed me with enormous knowledge, wisdom, and life lessons that no book ever could.

Hi, I'm Virag, Viri or V. ✌🏽 I grew up in Hungary and worked in the UK for 10+ years. While travelling in Pakistan I met my now husband. For various reasons, we were not able to move to Europe (my husband has never left his country), and I ended up moving to Pakistan instead. We, a family of 11 people live at 2800 metres altitude, in very simple circumstances (cold water, has to be warmed up, bucket shower, etc. ), most of the year we eat potatoes/rice and lentils, until the summer comes, when we have vegetables in abundance in our garden. We have two cows, three sheep and some hens. We drink tea with milk and salt (but we have sugar for guests :)) Our situation has changed recently, as we have turned our guest room into a homestay/hostel. Since this is our only income as of now, we give priority to paying guests, but we are happy to meet up! In the winters I work in the UK as a live-in nanny to be able to improve our living conditions, and provide work opportunities to our family members.
