If you are around, let's hang out!! -- I've lived in New York City since I was four. Brooklyn, to be exact, but I went to high school across the street from Juilliard and university in Queens so I've been all over the place. :) I specialized in vocal music at a performing arts high school and I even learned Violin when I was even younger than that... I am extremely rusty though and too embarrassed to try to play that. Recently taught myself a little guitar, just enough to accompany myself when I feel like singing alone in my room. I love going to karaoke. I am actually a linguist now, and I'm still studying languages. I've studied Japanese, German, Latin, French... independently learning Portuguese and starting to work on Mandarin. I can understand a lot of Spanish although I never actually studied it. (Can't really speak it though.) I have a minor degree in Japanese Language studies. Studied that for eight years in school, but then took a long break... back into it now though and trying to remember as much as I can and use it!! Visited Japan for a month in 2018 on a solo trip and traveled around the country and made friends. Amazing experience. The lgbtq+ community is very important to me. I'm a lgbtq+ equal rights advocate. I love nature and want to travel to see all the beautiful places in the world!
