I love getting to know new places; and there is no better way to do this than by meeting locals. Through Couchsurfing I have had incredible conversations and seen places that I would never have found myself.

I October 2015 I walked 1000 km on the Camino De Santiago from France to Spain. I went by myself; but met loads of awesome people on the way. This spring I spent 2 months volunteering in Nepal; living in a small village without electricity, water, and internet - a true eye opener.
