I'm in Couchsurfing because I like to have personal and enriching experiences. I like to meet interesting people from whom I can share inspirational conversations. Interesting people that actually read my profile and get inspired enough to write me a personal and convincing couch request. Because they want to meet me, not my couch. If you're one of those that just want a free place to stay don't even bother sending me a request. Template messages will get an immediate and blank NO. If you don't invest your time writing me a personal request , I won't waste mine answering. I don't want to sound harsh. But lately, template requests are almost all I get.
